Creating an Account and Logging In

Create an Account

Open the login screen or go to https://www.habitssocial.com/, then select the Sign Up tab.

Enter a username, email address, password, and matching confirmation password. Select Sign Up to create the account and continue to your habits.

Log In

Open the login screen, then select the Log In tab.

Enter your email or username, enter your password, then select Log In.

Log In With Google

On the login screen, use the Google sign-in button.

If this is your first time using Google with Habits Social, finish your profile by choosing a username and password. After the profile is complete, the app logs you in.

Log Out

You can log out of your account at any time from the navigation menu.

Warning: Logging out completely clears your local device data to protect your privacy. If you have been logging habits offline, ensure you reconnect to the internet and allow your app to sync before you log out. Any offline progress that has not synced to the server will be permanently destroyed when you log out.

Reset Your Password

From the login screen, select Forgot password?. Enter your email address and select Send reset link.

If an account exists for that email address, password reset instructions are sent to that inbox. Use the link in the email to enter and confirm a new password, then return to the login screen.

Edit Profile

You can update your username, email address, password, or avatar at any time.

To edit your profile:

1. Open the app and go to your profile.
2. Select Edit Profile.
3. Update your desired information.
4. If you are changing your email address or password, enter your Current Password to confirm the changes.
5. Select Save at the bottom of the form.
6. Review the confirmation, then select Yes, Update Profile.

Delete Your Account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your habits, logs, buckets, friendships, and messages will be permanently erased.

To delete your account:

1. Open the app and go to your profile.
2. Select Edit Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the form and select Delete Account.
4. Read the warning, then select Yes, Delete My Account.
5. Enter your current password to confirm, then select Delete My Account.

After deletion, your email and username become available for anyone to use with a new account.
